I believe that Painting is simultaneously a metaphysical and physical connection with the world.
It's a journey outwards and inwards to places of imagination and to the unimaginable. In order to see what is in front of me or the imaginary, I must discover its color and surface. I strive to touch its idea, its energy, rhythm and feeling, its past and future, its individuality blend in universal, its reflection in my world and in the forms I unconsciously project on it.
When I look at the results I see new meaning and a cryptic absence of self.
It's a search and a coincidental discovery.
It's a learning not to know and let happen.
